Answers to our Bible Quiz for the month of August, below:
ANSWER TO QUESTION 1: God created man and made man to be a free moral human. That was the reason Adam and Eve, the first man on earth, were left to use their own free-will attitude to choose between obeying God and Live Eternally in peace with God, or disobeyed God, and be driven out of the Beautiful Garden to surfer and Died. That free-will gift from God is still with all human beings till today. God’s Word and His Spirit can only show to man what are those good things to choose and be blessed with, and those wrong things to do and receives the just recompense from God(bad consequences)It God’s Spirit Love for man to plead with man to choose the right things and do, so that it can be well with him/her. But the actual choice is that of an individual man(everybody). It is therefore not surprising that God is well-pleased with voluntary gifts or voluntary Service from man, ranging from voluntary offer of one’s self to Him, and everything that concerns him. Although God has the Power to force man to obey Him, or to give to Him whatsoever He wants from man, but God’s Nature forbids Him to do so.
It is God’s Will and Pleasure to find a clean and Sanctified heart, where His Spirit can dwell in. But for a man to have such a space in his heart for God, he or she has to APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, first, to wash away the sins he or she has been committing against God’s will and pleasure for him or for her. To make the heart wholly Sanctified and holy, the person whose sins have been washed away, needs to APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS THE SECOND TIME OVER HIS HEART AND IN FAITH, in order to have the inherited sin from his fore-parents(Adam and Eve) REMOVED FROM HIM OR FROM HER. With his faith or her FAITH in this Blood of Jesus to wash away his own sins committed, and the ROOT OF SIN that he inherited from Adam to be removed, God will forgive him or her of his sins or her sins, and will remove also the ROOT of Sin, from him. From that moment, this person has made his heart, a SANCTUARY, CLEAN AND HOLY ENOUGH FOR THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO DWELL IN, DAY AND NIGHT. But he or she has to MAINTAIN this Sanctuary, if he or she wants God to continually dwell there. He or she can do this by PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING, BY DAILY FEEDING ON THE WORD OF GOD FROM THE BIBLE, COMPLETELY OBEYING THE WORD OF GOD, AND BY DAILY CONSECRATING HIS OR HER LIFE TO GOD, LIVING FOR HIS WILL AND FOR HIS GLORY, ONLY.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 2: God is a Holy God, and His ATTRIBUTES AND CHARACTER has no match in this earth or in Heaven above. God is PRECIOUS, ALL MIGHTY, MOST POWERFUL, HOLY, GRACEFUL, MERCIFUL, DEPENDABLE ON, FULL OF LOVE, COMPASSIONATE, FAITHFUL, UNFAILING, TRUE, HUMBLE THOUGH THE HIGHEST IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH, TRUST-WORTHY, SINLESS WITH AN IMAGE THAT NO MAN CAN LOOK UPON HIS SHINNING FACE AND REMAINS ALIVE on earth still, oh! The list of Who God really is, remain inexhaustible by any mortal! Therefore, if a man is building an earthly place for God’s Spirit to descend into, the most precious materials should be used, as much as that builder’s ABILITY can cope. When God gave Moses the Instructions on the materials to use in building Him a Sanctuary, He had already seen the ability of the people to provide for the building-work. He was even the Person that provided to the people, those precious materials. But it was up to each of the people to offer WILLINGLY, from what God had already given to them, so that it could be used for the building.
b) Today, anybody can build for God, a Sanctuary, either in his heart as we have already made mention of above, or a secluded place where he can use daily to talk with God in prayer. A family can have such a place for a `FAMILY ALTER`, where all members of the family gather together and pray/read the Bible and sing some hymns. A Church Building consists of a `SANCTUARY` for God, where THE ACTUAL WORSHIP to The True God, takes place. That very area of the Church Building is often the most beautifully adorned area, and should also be the most reserved and honored area too.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 3: The Ark of God during the children of Israel’s earlier relationship with God and in their Worship to Him, had a great Influence in their midst and in their lives. Inside this Ark of God, was The Ten Commandments that God Gave to Moses when they reached Mount Sinai, as they were journeying from Egypt to the Promises Land, Canaan. The Ark also contained a pot of Manna, which was the food that God provided for them during their forty-year- journey in the desert, to Canaan. God did not want them to forget that miraculous provision, but He wanted them to show this food to their generation following, as a testimony that God was able to take care of them even when they would go through a very dry condition(desert), in the future. A few other precious things were also included in the Ark, and the Ark was to be in the most Sacred Place within the Building where they used for The Worship of The True God, Jehovah. There were also some Sacred ornaments and objects which were placed around, on top, and by the sides of the Ark. One of these things was `MERCY-SEAT`, which was placed on top of the Ark. In this most Sacred Place where this Ark, and other Sacred things were, God was to descend in a way that His Presence was to be Greatly felt there more than in any other Area within the whole Building. Signifying that, worshipers of today, should make an effort to be right inside the Area where the worship is taking place, to listen and to pray to God, unless this is not possible for an individual at such time. It was in this Most holy Place within the Building, that God said He would commune with the officiating Priest, the high Priest who was instructed to appear there once in a year, only, to plead for his mistakes and for the sins or the mistakes that the whole congregation of Israel, might have committed. The Priest would not dare to enter into that place, except with the blood of an animal, which was signifying the Blood of Jesus that would later be shed for the forgiveness of the sins of the whole world. Through His Blood, all willing heart can now enter into the most holy place within the Church Building, and talk to God, without fear of dying. This HOLY OF HOLIES was so Holy and Dedicated that, it posed a risk for even the officiating high Priest to enter without following a DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS THAT GOD GAVE TO MOSES TO WARN THEM OF THE DANGER IN IGNORING ANY OF THE INSTRUCTIONS. The Priest could fall dead if he made any mistake whilst officiating in The Holy of Holies, or whilst approaching that Sacred Place in the Building. `THE MERCY SEAT` was placed(in the form of a low stool) on the Ark, where God was to descend(not physically to human eyes) and sat on and Communed with the high Priest. Bringing the whole arrangement of this part of the building into today’s worship in the House of God, Church, we can see the STANDARD that God Expects from the true worshipers in His House. Although The Dead of Jesus Christ has GREATLY MINIMIZED the Standard and the consequences of failing to uphold the details of the Standard as it was in the days of Moses, yet, there are still some things that God expects true worshipers of today to do. God expects the true worshipers to draw near to His Sanctuary, with TRUE HEART AND IN HUMILITY, REFERENCING HIS HOLY PRESENCE THERE. God expects them to come with the Blood of Jesus in the heart and PLEAD FOR FORGIVENESS OF ANY MISTAKE OR SIN, THEY MIGHT HAVE COMMITTED WITHIN THE WEEK, OR EVEN THAT VERY DAY. God expects them to draw near with a contrite heart and with a broken spirit, humble spirit that longs for God’s FAVOUR OVER THEIR BODIES AND OVER THEIR SOULS, MAINLY. Therefore, God expects them to put away, SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS, and plead for God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS to possess them each day. As There were two symbols of Cherubim placed on the two sides of the Ark, each cherub facing one another, but their faces looking inside the Ark where the word of God(the Bible we may call it today) was, therefore, these symbols with wings and like angels of God looking at the way and the manner that the Priest, including the whole congregation, treated the word of God, and also pleading for God’s Mercy for the one who may miss a bit of the whole HIGH STANDARD, that observation is also available today. Jesus is undertaking that observation within the life of each worshipper of God, judging the way he or she worships The True God! However, worshipers should not rely on themselves only, to be able to OBEY ALL THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, BUT THEIR RELIANCE SHOULD BE IN JESUS CHRIST, WHO IS RIGHT NOW ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE OF GOD, PLEADING WITH THE FATHER TO DEAL GRACIOUSLY WITH THE PEOPLE THAT HE DIED ON THE CROSS FOR. It is Jesus’ daily Pleading with God The Father, on behalf of all flesh, that does not allow Satan to do whatever he wills, and sends souls to Hell before the time when any of them could come to repentance, be saved, and be able to change his or her final DISTINATION. That is the reason God is giving sinners long rope to pull, until the sinner comes to the end of that rope and dies, either still as a sinner, or would have chosen to repent and die as a Saint to make Heaven his or her Eternal Home. Today, you can rejoice because SOMEONE is PLEADING for your soul, and even for your comfort here on earth too. But don’t forget that, the pleading will have an END, someday. It is wise then, not to OVER RELAXED AND MISUSE SUCH OPPORTUNITY FOR TOO LONG. Let Jesus’ Pleading, work abundantly for you, and unto THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON HE IS PLEADING FOR YOU-THAT YOU MAY ESCAPE THE FURIOUS FINAL JUDGMENT OF GOD UPON ALL ADAMANT SINNERS!

God gave an elaborate description on how Moses was to decorate and managed The Ark of Covenant. Mention some of the things in connection with This Ark, and their significance in today’s WORSHIP OF THE TRUE GOD.
The ANSWERS TO OUR BIBLE QUIZ BELOW:
ANSWER TO QUESTION1:
God’s universal call is first of all to everybody on earth. That first call is to repentance from sin and unto Salvation from sin through the Application of His Son, Jesus Christ’s Blood by faith. The second call is to a closer walk with God, by Applying The same Blood of Jesus Christ by faith, over the soul, to uproot the root of sin- Nature, inherited from Adam by every man born into this world. This Second Christian Experience is Called, SANCTIFICATION. Sanctification makes the heart holy, and makes it easier for the person to obey God’s Commandment and to follow along with The Holy Spirit’s Leading each day. Sanctification makes the Saint of God live in unity with fellow Christians WHO HAVE ALSO GOT THIS EXPERIENCE IN THEIR LIFE. It makes the Saint to love everybody-souls of all mankind. God always calls the sanctified person into even greater spiritual height, and that is into The Baptism of Holy Ghost and Fire, evidenced by speaking in another language that the person has never learnt before. At the fullness of these God’s spiritual gifts above, the person is fully qualified to be called to a SPECIFIC WORK IN THE VINEYARD OF GOD, OR TO HIS `FIELD WORK` OUTSIDE THE CHURCH. The Baptism of The Holy Ghost and Fire helps the Saint to work for God without fear of what the devil may threaten him with. This Experience gives boldness(not arrogance) to him to FULLY FOLLOW GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMANDS, WITHOUT UNNECESSARY RESPECT OR REGARDS TO HUMAN BEING. Because the person is fully immersed in The Holy Spirit Who now takes control of his being, the person’s flesh is completely dead to sin, and his preference in life is to live for God’s Glory.
We believe this was the stage of which Moses was, atleast during this chapter, although the Bible has no account where anybody received The Baptism of The Holy Ghost and Fire, in the Old Testament Time. But if Moses was not holy enough, he would not have been used by God to demonstrate The Power of God the way he was doing. He would not have been the only living man on earth who has seen God’s back, as he did at Mount Sinai. Today, anyone who possesses these Three Christian Experiences, is ready to be CALLED by God to do one significant job or the other for God, not necessarily to a job as great as He called Moses to do for His Glory. The more one is filled with The Spirit of God, the more close he is with God, and the more revelations he can get from God. So, that might have been why God, in the Bible chapter above, called Moses, AARON, NA-DAB, A-BI-HU, AND SEVENTY OF THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL to come close to Him-, TO WORSHIP AFAR OFF at the foot of Mount Sinai. BUT GOD INSTRUCTED THAT MOSES ONLY SHOULD GO CLOSER TO GOD WHILE OTHERS SHOULD STAY FAR OFF. These people were called out from the whole congregation of the children of Israel, who had left the land of Egypt, journeying to the land of Canaan, up to this point.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 2:
As Moses drew higher to the Mount, nearer to where God was, God spoke to him and instructed him to tell those words of The Lord and all the judgments to the whole congregation of Israel. When Moses came down from the Mount, he told the people all what God sent to them. Then the people promised to do all what God told them to do. Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and built an alter under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to The Lord. Moses also took the blood of the oxen and sprinkled on the book which he wrote the words of the Lord in. He read the Book of the covenant in the audience of the people, and the people said, “All that the LORD hath said we will do, and be obedient.” Moses sealed the covenant between The Lord and the people, with the blood of the animal which was sacrificed to the Lord. All the blood from the sacrifices that God told the children of Israel to make, for the forgiveness of sins among them, and for any other purposes, were POINTING TO THE INNOCENT PURE BLOOD THAT JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON, WOULD ONE DAY COME TO EARTH AND SHED FOR THE REMISSION OF MAN’S SINS.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 3:
Moses, AARON, NA-DAB, A-BI-HU, AND SEVENTY OF THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL, went back again to the foot of the Mount, and this time, God showed Himself to all of them, yet far up from the Mount. The lesson here is that, anything someone does to reference God and to win His Pleasure, God is happy and will draw closer to such a person. We believe that God was pleased with the little effort that Moses made when they went back to the congregation. Moses did build an alter to God and offered sacrifice to Him. All the people, including the ones mentioned here, listened to the words of God that Moses brought to them, and they all were happy and decided that they would keep those word, just as God wanted them to do. When Moses and the people mentioned above saw God, they were pleased and they celebrated as they ate and drank.
God then had another Assignment for Moses. He called Moses to come up into the mount and be there, so that He could give him the Ten Commandments. The more you desire to obey God, the more you please Him, and the more He reveals more of Himself to you, and what He wants you to do for His Glory and for your blessings.

Bible quiz for the month of February, 2019. Reading Portion: Exodus 23:1-33.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 1:
OUR COMMENTS ON SOME OF THE VERSES IN OUR READING PORTION, FOR OUR FEB, 2019 BIBLE QUIZ:
Verse 1: God's Instruction, that His child should not raise a false report nor join with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness, draws our attention to Jesus' constant rebuke on the Jews of His days about their hypocritical worship of God. The rebuke was especially on the leaders, who supposed to have led the people by TEACHING THEM THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND ESPECIALLY, BY THE LIFE THEY LIVED BEFORE THE PEOPLE. But the Bible recorded that `these people worshipped God with their lips, but their hearts were far away from God`. The Bible recorded a period that God even commanded them not to bring to Him anymore sacrifices, that their sacrifices were an ABOMINATION to Him, and their prayers were annoying to Him, in so much that, when they would spread their hands to Him in prayer, God said He would hide His face. This was a complete reverse from what God lovingly commanded them to do. He had, prior to this time, commanded them to bring into His House, sacrifices and made prayers to Him. God promised that He would accept their sacrifices and answered their prayers, and would watch over them for good and for blessings. It seemed that these people had gone a bit too far in sin, without repentance for a long time. It seemed too that God was running out of patience and love for this hardened people, who supposed to be a loving folks to Him. Jesus, in His days, also seemed to have run out of patient on the Jews one time, when He rode triumphantly into Jerusalem with His disciples. On that day, when Jesus entered into the Temple, He was greatly grieved to see the Temple, The Holy House of God, meant for prayers and for Worship of God, turned into `market` place for trade. Jesus, with THE AUTHORITY FROM HEAVEN, AS THE SON OF GOD, overthrew their tables trade, and all the commodities for sales fell on the floor. Jesus, the Creator of man, whipped these disobedient leaders and their subjects, without mercy or regard to their positions they held in the Temple. Hallelujah! It is one of the inspiring performances done by The Son of God, Jesus, when He was on earth. Jesus did not spank(thrash) these Jews because He wanted to demonstrate His Authority over them, as their superior, no! He was jealous of the true worship which this people misplaced, and gave it not to The Lord God Almighty Who had been so faithful to them. Instead, they worshipped money and polluted the Sanctuary of God. Some days after this incident, these Jews crucified their ONLY SOURCE OF DELIVERANCE-DELIVERANCE FROM THE WOES OF THIS WORLD, AND DELIVERANCE FROM ETERNAL PAIN IN FIRE AFTER THIS LIFE.
So it is today, if the Spirit that was in Jesus Christ is in you, as a true follower of Christ, you CANNOT be comfortable to see the House of God turned into mockery(by unbelievers outside)place. If you are comfortable in a church that preaches and teaches the sound truth of the Bible, but in their ACTIONS(privately and openly at times), they bring reproach to The holy Gospel of Jesus Christ, just bear yourself witness that you are just as one of them, even though you may not exactly do what they do. That does not mean you should quit the church, which teachings can help you grasp Eternity with God at last. But there is something you can do. PRAY! Pray seriously that God should intervene for the sake of His Name and for the souls that could be blessed through the sound teachings, but who may be misled by the ACTIONS of these leaders/members, and then end in Hell. Pray for God to show you, and lead you to what you can do to help the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be portrayed in a way that it would attract many people to it, and have their souls delivered from Hell. Pray for God to get you established FIRMLY in His righteousness so that you too will not be derailed by the examples of these false leaders/false brethren. If you have The Spirit of God in you, making you to desire the good of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Glory of The God Almighty, a time like that will not be the time to fight with the leaders or with the members, just because you want to correct them. With grieve in your heart for the mishandling of the Pure Gospel, get LOST IN SERIOUS PRAYERS. God has many ways of delivering your soul from pollution around you, and for Salvation of souls. God has a rich REWARD, HERE AND AFTER HERE, FOR YOUR GENUINE INTEREST TO PROTECT THE GOSPEL AND FOR HIS GLORY! Let NOTHING OR ANY MAN, MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR REWARD. But to be such a MEDIATOR OR AN INTERCESSOR FOR SOULS AND FOR THE GOSPEL, YOU FIRST OF ALL MUST HAVE THE RIGHT SPIRIT-THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN YOU, AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE DAILY BEING LED BY HIM. You will know, for He will be speaking within you as you surrender yourself to Him in daily prayers and supplication. You will know, as you daily OVERCOME SIN AND ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, BY HIS GRACE! The verse in our reading portion(verse 1) warns that, nobody should put hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. In short, don't support any evil act, knowingly, otherwise, you are that evil person too, and God may give you your own share(according to the level of your support) when He shall judge the wicked. Dont join the wicked to bear false witness in order for him to prosper in his evil ambition or goal.
The next verse(2) commands that, you should not join hand to do evil, just because many people are doing the same thing. God always has a `LITTLE FOCK` for Himself. He always has a little group of people who stands for all the Commandments in the Bible and fights for it. This fight is not only in the mouth alone, but in ACTION as well. This fight is not only in the doctrine of the Bible that is easy to do, or only when it concerns another person. But it is a RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY FIGHT THAT COMES FROM THE HEART, AS THE RESULT OF THE LOVE IN THE HEART FOR GOD, AND FOR THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. THEREFORE, SINCE THE REASON(THE GOSPEL) FOR THE FIGHT IS HOLY, THEN THE FIGHT MUST BE FOUGHT ACCORDING TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY GHOST AND ACCORDING TO HIS HOLY INSTRUCTIONS. IT MEANS THEREFORE THAT, THE PERSON THAT IS FIGHTING FOR THE CUASE OF THE GOSPEL MUST LEAN HEAVILY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT ON HIS OWN WISDOM, NOR ON HIS HEART’S DESIRE ALONE.
Next verse instructs that, you should not look at faces, for example, a poor person, and use his disadvantageous position to judge or to treat him accordingly.
Next verse advises that you should do good to even someone who is your enemy. High standard, but yet, God wants us to reach that level! He has got the sufficient grace for whosoever will ask Him for it.
Verse 7, instructs that you NOT slay a righteous or an innocent person. God says here that HE ALONE IS THE PERSON TO DEAL WITH THE WICKED, AND IF YOU KILL THE RIGHTOEUS OR THE INNOCENT, KNOW FOR SURE THAT, HE WILL DEAL WITH YOU. Understanding is needed here to know that, it is not only when a physical action of taking someone’s life is carried through, that means killing. They are many other forms of actions that someone can take, and the result can be dead. If you desire NOT to contribute to someone’s death in any way, God will speak to your conscience and warns you faithfully, when you want to ignorantly take an action that could lead to the death of another person, or to yours.
We want to be a little bit silence about verse 8, because we, as Charity Organization, like it when we give out or share with others, the blessings that God has blessed us with. We like it when people are happy to receive from us, and may even use such opportunity to discover the God we serve, through our generosity. But we don’t think the verse we are considering here totally condemns taking of gifts, generally. We think it is addressing people in various positions, who may be tempted to misplace the way they treat certain people, because some other people may have been able to offer gifts, and thus `buy` for themselves some kind of favours through bringing of such gifts. But if the authority in question would receive the gifts with appreciation, and still stand their ground faithfully, fearing God and not man, when it is time to handle a case surrounding the give, irrespective of the gift he had previously offered, we believe God can even turn around and bless such a person, or the authority, for honouring God with fair judgement, irrespective of the gift he had received.
Verse 9 talks about receiving strangers with love and fairness. Anybody can find himself in a strange land at any point in time. Therefore, strangers should be treated the way you would want to be treated in another person’s land. Especially in the church, is this very befitting. Visitors to a church, especially a LIVING church that God has blessed with the WHOLE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE, TO KNOW, TO TEACH, AND TO PUT INTO PRACTICE; SHOULD BE WELL-RECEIVED AND GENUINE LOVE SHOWN TO THEM. You want the visitors among you to know The Truth too, and be set free by the Truth. Your ATTITUDE can help keep them in your church, and your attitude can help make them ARRIVE in Heaven at last.
Verses 10-12, talks about considering the poor people, especially those around you. Do all that God may put in your heart to do, in order to help relieve them of at least a moment’s need, if God has placed you in a better position than them. Verse 12 talks about honouring THE LORD’S DAY. AND THE LORD’S DAY IN THIS NEW DISPENSATION(INSTITUTED BY JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, THE OWNER OF THE GOSPEL), IS SUNDAY. God expects you to be in His House on Sundays, especially, and to attend your church’s official schedule weekday Meetings, as much as God makes a way for you to do so. But first of all, MAKE SURE THE CHURCH YOU ATTEND, BASE THEIR TEACHINGS AND SERMONS ON THE TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD-THE HOLY BIBLE(ESPECIALLY, ST. JAMES’ VERSION, WHICH IS SIMILAR INTERPRETATION FROM THE ORIGINAL WRITINGS). If you are not sure if you are in the right church, pray to God to lead you to one. If you are sincerely hungry for the TRUTH, it is of God’s Pleasure to lead you to the Truth where your spiritual hunger will be satisfied.
Verse 13 hammers on NOT HAVING ANY OTHER gods BESIDE THE TRUE GOD. Dont worship a stick, a stone, moon, stars, animal, or any of those things that The God Almighty created into the world, and actually gave you the power to put them under your subjection. Dont devalue and abuse your position, by bowing down to such things in worship. EXPENSE ALL YOUR ENERGY TO WORSHIP THE REAL GOD IN HEAVEN, THE MAKER OF ALL THINGS IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH, YOUR CREATOR. If you do that, He will reward your effort far more than what you put in. There is no NET lasting blessing, or Eternal Reward in worshipping the work of your hand. Dont put anything before God as priority. Make God, and His Worship, your Priority all through your living on earth. That includes your work, position, man in one position or the other, money, lust, ambition and pursuits, etc. GIVE GOD FIRST PLACE AND FIRST LOVE IN YOUR HEART ABOVE ALL THESE THINGS, AS YOU PURSUE THEM!
Verses 14-16, talk about Seasonal Feast to honour God with, and to be in unity with other like-minded people. Today, there are also such Feasst or Seasons to observe, and thus draw your heart closer to God. Easter and Christmas Seasons do fit into this Seasons. If you call yourself a Christian, but you refuse to observe these Seasons, let your heart speak you the truth for once, and let you know if you are truly a Christian as you call yourself. Your argument may be because these Seasons do not fall into the EXACT times the incidents took place. Widen your knowledge and argument into asking yourself, `if you would refuse to abide by the EMPLOYMENT REGULATIONS, set by the company you applied to work for, and you have already been told of their laws and principles. Ask yourself if you would continue to be part of such company if you disobey their conditions of employment, just because you don’t agree with the conditions`! You will either work for them while obeying the employment conditions, or you go out. So it is with Christianity, you either call yourself a Christian, and observe the Seasons with other Christians around the world, who have happily agreed to believe on what these Seasons stand for, and Celebrate the significance of such Seasons, thousands of years ago, or you deny every other doctrinal point about Christianity, and denounce the Name too. Otherwise, you make yourself a mockery stock.
Verses 17-19, talk about orderliness in worshipping God. Each church doses have an order whereby they operate. Provided the leaders of such church are convinced by The Spirit of God that such service-order is of God’s Pleasure, each member has to follow, or he or she should not worship there, to avoid ugly interruptions. These worship principles are often not from the Bible, word to word. But they are put in place as the church’s `traditions` set by the leaders of the church, for the edification of worshippers and for the glory of God, at heart.
Verses 20-23, bring out the precious Reward of OBEYING AND OBSERVING ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS OF GOD, FROM VERSE ONE OF THIS BIBLE PORTION, TO THIS POINT!! To an individual member of a church, leaders and strangers(visitors to a church) who would abide by these Instructions from The Divine and Loving God, that God has promised him or her in these verses, an Angel to look after him or her, all through his or her journey in this world. God says that the Angel will keep you in the right way and brings you to the PLACE that He has prepared for you-HEAVEN! God further admonishes you that you should beware of the Angel, that is, set your eyes on him and on the way he is leading you. Therefore, it is your sole duty to obey the Angel, as he will be giving you further instructions, from God, on how to walk profitably on earth, and reach Heaven. God says: “Beware of him(the Angel), and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions; for my name is in him”. God further says that, if you would indeed obey the voice of the angel, and do all that He speaks(through the Angel), God says that He will be an Enemy to your enemies, and an adversary, to your adversaries! Wonderful! If God therefore will take over your battle to fight your enemies on your behalf, it will be then for you to sit down calmly and peacefully, enjoying any other good things the Lord will be sending your way!! Glory be to God. Let it be known here that, this angel is not made visible to you, but though invisible, his duties or assignment from God for you, does not diminish. For a True Child of God, The Holy Spirit is Given to you at the point of your sin-forgiveness. His Presence in your life is Increased, at the point of the Sanctification of your soul(Second Work of Grace, still through the Blood of Jesus Christ, at which point you are made holy). The Presence of The Holy Ghost in you comes to the Climax, at the point that God Baptizes you with His Spirit(The Baptism of The Holy Ghost and Fire, the Experience that Jesus told His disciples to wait at the Upper Room and received before they were worthy to go into the world and preach the Gospel). So, with the OVERWHELMING SPIRIT OF GOD IN YOU, TO LEAD YOU, GUIDE, GUARD, AND TO COMFORT YOU, IN ADDITION TO THE ANGEL OF GOD, THE MESSENGER OF GOD, DELIVERING MESSAGES FROM THE `THREE-IN-ONE GOD`, YOU WILL BE SURE TO FIND THE WAY TO HEAVEN, travelling with joy, peace in your heart and satisfaction that you are in God’s PERFECT WILL FOR YOUR LIFE AND FOR HIS PLEASURE, despite what may please Him to come across your path!
Verse 23&24 say that, you may happen to find yourself in a strange land, or among people who are not worshipping Him. But God wants you NOT to be like them, but rather to rebuke them(preach the gospel to them, both by words, and mostly, by the LIFE you life before them).
Verse 25 emphasizes that you should serve The God of Heaven, your True God, that if you do this, God says that the benefit will be:
God shall bless your bread. God shall bless your water. God shall take away sickness from your midst(from you and from your family). Your young ones will not die young. Nothing shall be barren among you(man or beast). God will fulfil the number of years that He has appointed for you. That means you don’t have to fear what anybody, offended by your STAND FOR HOLINESS, MAY DO TO YOU. BECAUSE NOBODY CAN CUT SHORT YOUR LIFE ON EARTH BEFORE THE YEARS THAT GOD HAS APPOINTED FOR YOU TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD. NOT EVEN SATAN CAN SHORTEN THOSE YEARS!! BUT YOU MUST KEEP YOUR DUTIES IN MIND, AS CONDITIONS TO RECEIVE THESE PROMISES-JUST OBEY, THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU. IF YOU ASK FOR THE GRACE, GOD IS PLEASED TO GIVE IT YOU.
God’s promises for the children of Israel continue into verse 27-33. You may want to read again, if you did not.
